My obsession with storytelling has led me to some dope places where I’ve been able to produce meaningful projects across different verticals. I started out in the magazine world, spending a chunk of my career at legacy publications.

During my years as features editor at Playboy, I reimagined their sex, gender and politics coverage during a sweeping company-wide rebrand. The time I spent at print outlets garnered recognition from places like the Los Angeles Press Club before I started applying my journalistic verve to the tech and nonprofit worlds.

I’m currently at Amazon where I’m a copy lead for shopper audiences and get to craft impactful messaging for campaigns like Prime Day. I also drive founder storytelling for the org’s Black Business Accelerator initiative. Prior to this, I developed content strategy at Salesforce and Shopify.

I work to build or optimize content verticals from the ground up, often collaborating with lean teams to drive impact and awareness. Through it all, my innate curiosity pushes me to ask the right questions that tell the best story possible.

Outside of full-time roles I've held, I've freelanced or consulted for Indeed, IBM, the ACLU, Fiserv, Clover, and Faire, elevating success stories, bolstering thought leadership, implementing SEO strategy or narrativizing original research. (I also recently published a book with Penguin Random House, ask me about it sometime!)

Whether I'm getting someone to identify with a product, a person or just an idea, I feel at home with any mission-oriented, story-driven pursuits. If you’re looking for a writer, an editor, or a strategist, let’s build together.
